Over the past several months, the residents of Lebanon, Ohio have been asked to Think! Downtown to update the city’s Downtown Master Plan. Since the process kicked-off in October 2016, the planning team, which includes Randall Gross / Development Economics, and 16-person Steering Committee have completed an assessment of existing conditions and physical assets and have also completed preliminary market research.
In March, the city had its largest public engagement event in recent history with over 80 participants at a Listening and Learning Workshop. Six themes emerged from the over 300 ideas generated; development, transportation, streetscape and amenities, housing, communication, and events & entertainment. These ideas in combination with analysis and staff input will be used to develop goals and strategic recommendations to build on the momentum of Downtown Lebanon.
The next public event will be in late June.
