On February 27, One City One Vision hosted an open house to share the draft Action Agenda with the Anniston Community, gather feedback, and energize the community to support the plan’s implementation. The Open House caps off over nine months of community input that included 1700 ideas and 150 specific actions that were generated at the Kick-Off Workshops and the Community Summit. Enthusiasm for One City One Vision and its potential benefits for the community has remained high – with nearly 200 people providing feedback at the Open House. The community reinforced the importance of building community pride in Anniston, as well as stressed the significance of sharing their stories. Participants were complimentary about the process and the proposed actions, and are excited about the possibility of implementing many of their ideas. The Action Plan is expected in late April.
