New effort underway for the downtown business district in Lebanon, Ohio

By October 31, 2016Project Updates

Anticipation is building in Lebanon, Ohio for the Central Business District and North Broadway Master Plan.  The 9-month process kicked off in mid-October with a meeting with City Staff, City Council and Planning NEXT, the lead consultant on the project.  An extensive market study, performed by Randall Gross, a partner on the project, will be included in the plan to assess economic opportunity in the area.

Lebanon’s Central Business District has a charming, historic character but the CBD, along with North Broadway, which includes the site of an abandoned horse track north of downtown, could benefit from a unified vision for the area.  Once the process is underway, the city will be reaching out to the public to help define the vision.  The plan will include goals and actions to create a place that is uniquely Lebanon.
