Graphic Designer & Proposal Coordinator

Planning NEXT is seeking a graphic designer to assist our firm with a variety of graphic design needs, including project graphic design support and marketing graphic design support. Quality visual communication is essential to our work, and we are looking for an individual who is passionate about graphic communication, a strong communicator and writer, and a quick learner with an excellent aptitude for task management. Beyond providing graphic support for projects, this position will work closely with leadership to produce high-quality, attractive, and concise responses for public bids and requests for proposals (RFPs) related to community and urban planning projects.

Internships/Co-ops

All Internships for Fall 2025 have been filled.

We help prepare planning and marketing students to make a positive impact in the profession. Our interns/co-ops work between 20-40 hours per week throughout the academic year, depending on their class schedule. Interns/co-ops must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program. Candidates should have a strong interest in community engagement and possess the ability to communicate effectively. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and produce high-quality work. For planning interns/co-ops, proficiency in MS Office software and ArcGIS is required. For marketing interns/co-ops, proficiency in MS Office software and Adobe Creative Suite are required, while other graphic skills are a plus.

We are always looking for skilled interns/co-ops. We will be accepting applications for Spring 2026 internships this fall.
