The Economic Development Strategic Plan for Independence, Ohio wrapped up this month with the presentation of the draft plan by economist Randall Gross and planning NEXT team member, Kyle May. As part of the process, planning NEXT designed and led two large public meetings. Participants contributed their ideas and aspirations for a sustainable Independence. This work work is being integrated with city branding program. The draft report has been officially endorsed by City Council in a resolution and is on track for adoption when the newly elected council convenes.
