What is Miami Crossing?

Take our two-part survey to help us determine what Miami Crossing should become!

About this survey

Miami Crossing is a vibrant area centered around the Dayton Mall and home to more than 400 businesses. Building on an effort that began in 2015, the Miami Crossing Joint Economic Development District (JEDD) and local stakeholders are developing a new master plan to guide the area’s future.

We are in the early stages of this process and want to hear from you! Your ideas and feedback will help shape a shared vision for Miami Crossing.

Introduction

Please share your thoughts on the following six Big Ideas for the Miami Crossing Area. These are similar to ideas that were presented in the previous plan, but reflect changes that have taken place in the area since 2015. Use the scale from 1 to 5, where 1 means you do not support the recommended direction and 5 means you strongly support the recommended direction (three stars being neutral). After rating each idea, please explain why you gave that rating.

Part B

Use this map of the planning area to mark opportunity locations for implementing the Big Ideas and describe those opportunities. Some analysis has been done to identify potential areas that have significant potential for change (shown with green and yellow outlines). But, feel free to mark any place on the map.
