The 2021 comprehensive plan for the City of College Station, TX, has been honored with a Comprehensive Plan Award from the American Planning Association (APA) Texas Chapter. It also received a Comprehensive Plan Award at the regional level from the Central Texas APA.
In 2019, Planning NEXT, alongside Kimley Horn, joined the City of College Station to launch The Next 10, a Comprehensive Plan 10-year Evaluation and Appraisal. With rapid growth coming to this college town, the new plan included updates to the Future Land Use map, Transportation Maps, Annexation Plan, and other major policies and action items.
