
Jamie Greene, AIA, FAICP and Sarah Kelly, AICP will present to planners from around the country at the National APA Planning Conference 2023 in Philadelphia, PA, on April 1-4.
Jamie’s session is entitled Winning in Unwinnable Communities. He will explore how planners can ease the distrust between communities and their leadership through innovative collaboration and carefully crafted engagement. The goal is to develop strategies through which a planning process can effectively alter civil discourse and have broad, profound, and long-lasting impacts.
Sarah’s session is entitled Health Equity in Unexpected Places. She is speaking with Martin Kim, AICP, from the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission. The presentation examines how different types of communities can advance health equity through data analysis and planning that targets each place’s specific conditions and challenges.
