We are excited to announce that one of our directors, Sarah Bongiorno, will be a speaker at the upcoming Miami Valley Planning and Zoning Workshop on December 1st. This session will focus on how communities can “Choose Their Own Adventure” through using strategic planning.
In this session, Sarah, along with Tom Robilliard, Planning and Development Director from the City of Kettering, and Julie Colley, former Planner, Economic Development Manager, and former Assistant City Manager for the City of Westerville, will emphasize the significance of big ideas in strategic planning and how they have the potential to unite a community in ways that other planning processes often do not. Strategic planning is not just about making to-do lists; it is about envisioning the future collectively and taking deliberate steps necessary to get there. The speakers will offer practical insights and best practices that can empower communities to create a roadmap for a brighter tomorrow.
